Departmental Overview

RN for busy cardiology clinic located on the Healthplex campus in Norman.  Seeking a candidate with experience in a cardiology clinic.  Clinic experience is required and cardiology is preferred.

Job Summary

• Provides care to adult patients and assistance to both the cardiologist and the mid-level.   
• Gives direction and guidance to LPNs and Medical Assistants in the performance of their duties. 
• Act as a scribe for the cardiologist during patient visits. 
• Travel with physician to satellite clinics which will be 25% of the time. 
• Experience with cardiology patients is required.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Experience

• Prefer clinical office experience.
• Emergency room and hospital experience may be considered for this position.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification

• Current RN nursing license from the State of Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

Compensation/Benefits

• $20.34-$33.22/hr depending on previous work experience.
