The LPN utilizes the nursing process to provide the best care for Primary Care patients. Provides and maintains a clean, orderly, safe, and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment. Primary duties of this position are: patient rooming, collecting patient vital signs, point of care testing, documentation in the electronic medical record (EHR), maintaining patient flow, stocking exam rooms, assisting with procedures and treatments, communicating with efficiency and verifying that lab, x-ray or procedure reports are available for provider.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

A. Education

1. Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing

B. Experience

1. Experience in related field and evidence of continuing professional development preferred

C. Licensure/Certification

1. Current license as a Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia or Alabama as determined by job location

2. BCLS certification required annually
