Responsibilities

This role assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care for emergency patients in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, standards and philosophy and provides professional leadership and support to health team members. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Information:

  • This opportunity is a day shift seasonal position
  • 6 month seasonal agreement, three 12hr shifts per week and every other weekend
  • Candidate must have 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Flat rate $55/hour

About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for 70 years. Part of the Manatee Healthcare System, the hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295-bed hospital with over 550 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Qualifications

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)

Current RN licensure in Florida

ACLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)

Preference of 1-3 years experience in Emergency Nursing.

PALS or ENPC (within 6 months of employment)

CPI Required within 6 months of hiring
