• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
• Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
• Implements patient histories, assesses patients’ conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
• Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of BRN approved nursing program. and Acute care hospital experience., upon hire and
• Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Preferred

• 2 years acute care hospital experience.
